Deirdre is an experienced Project Manager by trade having worked in a multitude of private and public sector industries through the years – but always found ways to indulge in her side passion for large scale event and wedding planning prior to making her full time jump to the wedding industry.
Deirdre brings her professional and caring nature to our team and applies her project management skills to your very own personal project (your wedding!) She loves working through all the intricate details that will make your day and overall wedding experience relaxed, enjoyable and successful. Deirdre believes that planning and running a remarkable event – whether big or small – truly requires good organization, communication and attention to detail…why would you deny yourself of this kind of support for one of the most important days in your lifetime? Well, Deirdre will do just that – support you as your ‘go-to’ person in all your wedding planning needs (and with a sweet personality and big smile on her face!)
When not working on planning amazing events, you can find Deirdre loving on her furry Golden Retriever child, reading a good book on the porch or watching her pilot husband cloud surf through the skies.

Nancy was raised in Asuncion, Paraguay, and moved to Key West in 2010. She is a wife and a mother of two beautiful daughters.
Her love for DIY crafts, styling, and design made her the perfect candidate for our team. Nancy was born to entertain. She believes there is something to celebrate in every moment. She realized she wanted a career that would make her excited to go to work every day. Nancy got her start in weddings after she had experience in doing social events, birthday parties, baby showers and more. She loves planning and believes that a marriage is the most wonderful moment in life! It is a celebration and if planned well, a great wedding experience will linger for the rest of your lives. Nancy is excited to be part of your wedding dream and making it come true!
When not planning events, Nancy enjoys indulging in a good movie, exploring the island and spending time with her loved ones.
Guadalupe de Lafuente
Wedding Planner
Guadalupe was born in the City of Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she obtained her English/Spanish translation degree at the University of Buenos Aires. A few years later, she moved to Key West “to visit a friend” and has never left ever since and it has almost been ten years since then.
Guadalupe has a passion for planning events: she loves talking to wedding couples, seeing their ideas and vision for the most important day and turning wedding dreams into reality. Guadalupe started her career long time ago, while working at weddings for a local catering company and then moving forward to sales in one of the largest wedding rental companies in town. These jobs allowed her to get to know the different aspects of wedding planning, and the insight of each venue in Key West, as well as to establish great relationships with a lot of people in the industry. Guadalupe’s great experience helps her to be one of the top wedding planners in our team at Say Yes in Key West.
During her free time, Guadalupe enjoys reading and is highly committed to her daily yoga practice.
